Treat your mother to the Amore Opera and Hungarian House's joint fundraising tea party concert celebrating the Mothers in Opera!
An hour of operatic arias and duets, all about Motherhood in Opera, served with tea, sandwiches, and pastries.
The program will include a Tribute to Opera Mothers paired with Operetta Favorites. We will have arias and duets from The Magic Flute, Trovatore, Cavalleria rusticana, Carmen, and Madama Butterfly. On the operetta side, we have pieces lined up by Kálmán, Lehár, Johann Strauss, and Offenbach.
$80 of the ticket fee is tax deductible and 30% of the proceeds will go towards the Hungarian House of New York in support of their mission and the maintenance of this historic architecture.
