Amore Opera's production of Pirates of Penzance, featuring an all kids cast, was recorded on WQXR stage in 2018. 

This version is presented in a slightly abridged version suitable for children. With its rollicking tunes by Arthur Sullivan and its hilarious satire by William Gilbert, the operetta continues to be one of the great joys of the English-speaking theatre.

Designed especially for children ages 4-12, the fantastical fairy-tale opera about bird catchers, princes and enchanted instruments will be sung in an English translation with narration set to piano. With lush costumes and colorful backdrops, The Magic Flute at The Greene Space is the perfect way to introduce children to Mozart and opera. Hosted by WNYC’s Manoush Zomorodi.
